Fog and freezing fog to start Sunday
Fog patches in areas will provide little to no visibility.
The National Weather Service may once again issue a “Freezing Fog Advisory” as temperatures are expected to drop around 30 again.
A dense fog advisory is in effect for southeast MI until noon Saturday.
Environment Canada says motorists should be aware that visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. Light winds from the north are driving this thick fog southward this morning into Kentucky, which is why quite a few counties have been added to the Dense Fog Advisory overnight.
That means a cold start for Saturday morning, but we’ll warm up nicely with highs in the low 50s for Saturday afternoon.
Temperatures will continue to be mild this weekend with highs in the 40s. That said, I’ve got highs in the low 40s Sunday. Plan on fog Monday morning with late day sunshine. Plan on a chance of rain Wednesday.
