We expect the 2016 Ford F-150 Limited to be available later this year, though Ford has yet to release an official time frame. It will have a unique grille, raised “Limited” lettering on the hood and a satin-chrome exterior accents. The chrome front bumper will feature body-color end caps while the rear bumper will be completely body-color and bright belt moldings tie them together.
Standard equipment on the F-150 Limited include BLIS with cross-traffic alert, chrome front tow hooks on the 4×4 models, panoramic vista roof, power-deployable running boards, quad-beam LED headlights, remote start and tailgate release, as well as an integrated trailer brake controller.
Interior upgrades are reminiscent of the first-class cabin on an worldwide flight with heated and cooled multicontour massaging front seats offered in black or Mojave leather. Each truck’s production number is laser-engraved in a VIN plate on the center console lid. The Limited further separates itself from the other trims by featuring unique front and rear floor mats, a unique “Limited” instrument cluster face, wood-grain accents from genuine fiddleback eucalyptus, and Limited scuff plates with ice blue backlighting.
SYNC 3 is Ford’s newest communications and entertainment system that features enhanced voice recognition, high-speed performance, capacitive touch screen and easier-to-understand graphical interface.
