Ford Mustang stampede for 2015 SEMA Show
Next month’s tuner-centric auto show will host the unveiling of eight 2016 Mustangs (out of more than 50 Fords), with the most impressive of these modified ‘Stangs being a 900-horsepower EcoBoost-powered version from Bismoto.
The latest Ford team for the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show follows the company’s recent reveals of customised Edge and Explorer SUVs that will also be on the company’s show stand.
It wouldn’t be a SEMA 2015 Ford flagship without a few chassis and exterior updates, and Bisimoto made sure to provide that on its hot-rodded EcoBoost Mustang. It will also feature Wilwood brakes and Eibach suspension upgrades will be evident. Along with that is a interior of red leather as well as substantial wheels.
TS Designs has focused on the handling of this two-toned red and black ‘Stang convertible. On the convertible front, the MAD Industries Ford Mustang GT convertible uses a Whipple Industries 2.9-liter supercharger to boost power on the 5.0-liter Mustang GT engine to 725 horses.
Creamy ice blue wheels with a shining aggressive white body by Ice Nine Group yields 475hp through a turbocharge EcoBoost.
DRAGG basically stands for Drag Racing Against Gangs and Graffiti and the custom-tuned Mustang looks like it was taken out of a street racing video game. Fitted with GoPro cameras, lights and sirens, the American muscle car’s 2.3-litre engine gets an uprated intercooler, exhaust and BAMA tuning. Lastly, the Bojix Design EcoBoost is arguably one of the most striking of the eight Mustang tuners, with its Lamborghini Bianca Isis white and silver paint job with “Borange” stripes. 20-inch Rennen forge wheels offset the 4-piece carbon fiber front splitter, rocker extensions, rear valence, and carbon fiber rear spoiler. The Canadian company aims to bring a European Grand Touring feel to this American icon.
