Forecasts indicate that snow is likely this weekend
A wind chill advisory remains in effect for the East Tennessee mountains and Southwest Virginia through noon today, according to the NWS.

It will be mostly cloudy Wednesday night with a low of 23. Light west wind. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. Southeast wind 6 to 14 miles per hour becoming north northwest after midnight.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. A chance of rain or light freezing rain or light sleet in the morning, then rain likely in the afternoon.
Temperatures will be warmer Tuesday in central Oklahoma with gusty winds and a high in the upper 40s, the National Weather Service reports. Overnight low temperatures in the mid and upper 20s. Saturday: Partly sunny with a high near 27 and a low around 17. East wind 8 to 13 miles per hour becoming north in the afternoon.
THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy skies and late day scattered snow showers will be possible, with a high temperature of 36 degrees. High 16F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Winds will blow from the S-SE up to 20 miles per hour tomorrow.
Snow is expected to be likely on Saturday and into Saturday night, with a 60 percent chance of precipitation predicted during the day and night.
