Former Cowboys running back Randle arrested in Kansas
ESPN reports Randle, 24, was arrested and brought into the Sedgwick County Jail in Kansas on charges of aggravated battery, possession of hallucinogens/marijuana, and criminal damage to property. Randle was booked around 8:15 a.m. local time at Sedgwick County Jail, and his bond is set at $100,000. There was an outstanding warrant for his arrest and when he stopped by his ex-girlfriend’s home the police were immediately called. Irving police determined that Randle was wanted for speeding in a school zone in Coppell and arrested him.
Randle’s abrupt dismissal from the Cowboys was partially due to his involvement in sports gambling, according to a report by the Dallas Morning News.
Randle was released by the Cowboys in November, the one team that loves taking chances on players with prior issues and he threw that all away. On October 13, 2014, Randle was arrested at Dillard’s department store in Frisco, Texas for a Class B Theft.
With a continuance of his National Football League career unlikely at this juncture, attention now turns to Randle’s personal life and whether or not he can break his current legal system cycle.
