Former Gov. Carlin to lead Hillary Clinton campaign in Kansas
Hillary Clinton made a pitch to Puerto Rican voters during a campaign stop in Florida on Wednesday, touting her infrastructure plan and support for immigration. And as she flies around the globe – logging 956,733 miles over her tenure – she tries to keep track of the time zone.
Hillary Clinton is coming back to the Sunshine State this week, but she won’t be getting a warm welcome: A recent poll published by the Florida Atlantic University asserts that Clinton’s disapproval rating in Florida has skyrocketed with 56 percent of Floridians viewing the “often confused” former first lady unfavorably.
Her emphasis on jobs, and infrastructure in particular, is a move to woo working-class voters, who will be critical to winning the general election.
The holiday event is the same day Hillary Clinton will headline a fundraiser featuring her husband, Bill Clinton, and a performance by Sting.
Sanders also gets the best honesty grades among top candidates.
John Carlin has been named to lead a 30-person “State Leadership Council” for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in Kansas.
NPR reported that other emails showed senior advisor Philippe Reines reached out to National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell about head injuries and concussions when Clinton suffered a concussion in December 2012.
“I served proudly in President Obama’s cabinet and I’m running for president now to make sure every child has a chance to live up to his or her God-given potential”. Before Clinton entered the race, Warren spoke about her in glowing terms and joined all of her fellow female Democratic senators in signing a 2013 letter urging Clinton to run.
“She’s got the right stuff and it’s her time to be president”, said Maryland Sen.
She also criticized Republican Florida Gov. Rick Scott, who is serving his second term, for rejecting more than $2 billion in federal funding for a high-speed railway system in the state and for not expanding Medicaid under Obama’s overhaul of the health care system.
“We all feel that way”, Jiloty wrote. Under the subject line “100 and counting…”
Later, after several congratulatory emails were exchanged among Clinton’s staff, political consultant Mark Penn sent an email to Clinton gently suggesting that perhaps it wasn’t wise to lose her temper in the hearing.
You did not look rattled. No other candidate topped 3 percent, with 8 percent undecided.
