Former Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis ‘absolutely gutted’ after medical

Jorgie, who appeared on Dancing On Ice, is a surprise addition to the jungle after her old co-star and close pal Stephanie Davis quit just yesterday.

It was reported this week that the actress has been forced to withdraw from the ITV series over a nut allergy, of all things.

The 22-year-old took to Twitter to confirm that she was signed for the jungle but has had to pull out due to a severe nut allergy.

Former Hollyoaks star Steph Davis has been forced to pull out of I’m A Celebrity because it would be “unsafe” for her to take part.

The star added: “Sure I would have had you all laughing your socks off. Don’t worry though, there are awesome stuff coming up for me so keep your eyes peeled!”

Stephanie left Hollyoaks earlier this year after five years of playing Sinead O’Connor after her contract was terminated.

An insider said: “They don’t want to take any chances with stars not being able stand the many weeks couped up in the jungle”.

“They have a duty of care to all those taking part – and if a celebrity is not up to it, they’re not on the show”.

We can’t say that we aren’t incredibly disappointed, but of course agree that Stephanie’s health comes first!

Looks like we might have to wait until the 15th November to find out exactly who’ll be entering.
