Former Miss USA Contestant Samantha ‘Sami’ Edwards Found Dead at Age 37

Samantha, who was crowned Miss North Dakota USA in 2003, was found unresponsive at her home in Minneapolis on Wednesday.

The Hennepin County medical examiner’s office confirmed the body was that of 37-year-old Samantha Edwards.

Police have said there was no sign of trauma and they do not now have any reason to believe that her death was unnatural.

‘A conversation with her could either leave you full of adrenaline or utterly exhausted. The freelance makeup artist studied at the University of North Dakota and attended the Aveda Institute, a beauty school, in Minneapolis, according to her Facebook page.

“Samantha Edwards, affectionately known by most as Sami, was one of the most vibrant, crazy, compassionate, loyal balls of energy you could ever come across in life”, Dereschuk wrote.
