Former National Basketball Association star Lamar Odom found unconscious at Nevada brothel
Upon arriving at a hospital in Pahrump, Odom was intubated and then airlifted to another hospital in Las Vegas for further treatment, TMZ reports.
Authorities didn’t release his condition.
The former first-round draft pick was discovered at the Love Ranch South in Pahrump, Nevada according to TMZ in the US. Odom told Hof on Saturday that he wanted to come out to Hof’s Love Ranch brothel near Las Vegas on Saturday, and Odom stayed in Hof’s home attached to the brothel, Hof told The Times.
Brothel owner Dennis Hof told ET that Lamar arrived Saturday night and was “in a great mood”. Just hours before Khloe was posing for a sultry lingerie shoot in Beverly Hills as her ex husband was found in that very same day unconscious at a brothel in Nevada.
Representatives who have worked with Odom in the past did not immediately reply to requests for comment.
Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013, citing irreconcilable differences.
In 2013, Odom was in a video talking about taking drugs and cheating on Khloe Kardashian. He played 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association, also appearing with the Los Angeles Clippers, the Miami Heat and the Dallas Mavericks.
Odom, who was the 2011 sixth man of the year as the NBA’s top reserve and won Olympic bronze with the US in Athens, has endured numerous personal hardships in his life.
Odom played a year of college basketball at the University of Rhode Island before turning pro at the age of 18.
Born Lamar Joseph Odom on November. 6, 1979, in New York City, he was raised by his grandmother after his mother died of cancer when he was 12.
