Former Pacer Roy Hibbert gets punched in Lakers preseason game

The Lakers lose with 90-71 over the team from Utah. Booker hit Hibbert in the face and was ejected from the game.

The 2014-15 season was a tough one for the Lakers. Laker Nation got pretty pissed off today when it was discovered that ESPN ranked Kobe Bryant the 93rd best player in the National Basketball Association. There has been a new addition to the team which further complicates things in regards to who will finally be filling up the roster of players in the upcoming new season.

In his second game back from rotator cuff surgery, Kobe Bryant scored 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting in just under 21 minutes of action.

As the losses continued to accumulate at a violent rate, the fanbase had no choice but to focus on individual positives in order to maintain their sanity. Julius Randle went down and was unable to return for the remainder of the year, so when D’Angelo Russell took a hard fall and was not quick to get up there was cause for concern.

During the first half, there were many productive qualities of the Lakers’ play.

Notably, Randle also had a good game and played with active energy on both ends.

Trading for Roy Hibbert was a great swing for the Lakers, who desperately needed an overhaul on the defensive front. “And being healthy man. I’d love to play all year, too”.

WHAT TO EXPECT Indiana 2015-16 The Lakers have legitimately upgraded their talent at nearly every position over the summer, and they were certainly be a lot easier on the eyes this year. Put it this way: His PER was higher than Kobe, he shot more efficiently than Kobe from the field and 3-point range, and he has a ridiculously great skill for drawing whistles.
