Former President Clinton Returns To Campaign Amid Tight Iowa Race
Fallon told Clinton that during his appearance, Trump said Clinton was not doing well in her presidential campaign. Johnson says, he’s only recently decided that he’ll vote for Sanders.
Unlike the Republican side, where sharp words and personal attacks fill campaign commercials and the debates, the Clinton and Sanders campaigns still appear hesitant on overt attacks or outright criticism of primary opponents.
Both say they support Obama’s actions expanding the number of background checks before gun purchases by requiring more sellers – including those at stores, gun shows and on the Internet – to get licenses.
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) On the eve of the next Democratic debate, Vermont Sen. Challenged anew by Bernie Sanders, Clinton is reverting to some of the same themes, even strikingly similar attack lines, from her 2008 primary loss to Barack Obama.

Speaking about his ability to beat Clinton, he said: ‘The newest poll just came out today where I’m beating her easily and substantially. “They are people who are smart, committed, really reaching out to Iowans and putting together the kind of organization that is needed in a caucus”.
The narrowing of the race comes as Sanders and Clinton have ratcheted up the rhetoric at each other. With the Republican nomination contest lurching so far to the right, many Democrats are anxious to nominate a candidate that will ensure their party keeps the White House this November.
Sanders has also been on the campaign trail with author and professor Cornel West, which Salon called”the radical alliance that could change everything”.
“I don’t think I’d make it past the first half hour”, she joked.
“The significant early resources mobilized by our Finance Committee in 2015 helped us make smart early investments in key areas – and will enable us to continue with strategic allocations in Q1 of 2016”, the campaign said. Given the geography of New Hampshire and the demographics of SC, the Iowa Caucuses may offer a major momentum shift for the Democratic victor in the weeks to follow.
