Former Real Madrid star Arbeloa signed by West Ham
Arbeloa, 33, was a free agent after being released by European champions Real earlier in the summer and has agreed a one-year deal at the London Stadium.
Arbeloa has a huge wealth of experience as well as a host of winners medals.
Spain global Arbeloa agreed a one-year contract with the Premier League club after being released by European champions Real at the end of last season.
He was a sporadic player for Spain until the 2012 Euros when he became a fixture in the starting line-up and helped them to win the competition.
The Spanish World Cup victor, who also won Euro 2012 with his country, left Real Madrid at the end of last season and West Ham have snapped him up for nothing.
He cost the Reds £2.6million back in 2007 and played 95 times before moving back to his childhood club of Real Madrid in 2009 for £3.5m.
“The player has a wealth of experience, has won honours at domestic and global level and has played for some of the biggest clubs in Europe”, it explains.
“Slaven wants to see me training as soon as possible”.

He is now looking forward to returning to the Premier League and playing a major part for the Hammers, who have started the season slightly sluggishly.
Arbeloa has been clubless since June when his contract with Los Blancos came to an end after Real decided against offering him an extension.
