Former rival remembers guarding Pat Summitt

“I was playing in an AAU tournament in Coco Beach, and she walked in the gym”, she said. “I was like I know, she’s been recruiting me”.
Taurasi echoed that sentiment recalling the first time she saw Summitt in person. It didn’t necessarily go over with everybody else, but that is OK because that is how things grow.
