Four children died when a fire ripped through a condominium complex overnight in central Missouri, officials said Wednesday.
It got significantly more than five to nearly 60 firefighter’s hours to place the huge fire out, based on Dorhauer.
He says the state fire marshal is involved in the investigation to determine the cause.
The fire happened around 11 p.m.at the Compass Point Condominium Complex on Passover Road, off of Highway 54. The adults were able to make it out of the burning structure but the children did not. Firefighters did not know the ages of the children, nor if they were permanent residents or tourists in the area. Officials say the fire is out but they are keeping crews on the scene to handle any hot spots.
