Four clubs that could be interested in Everton contract rebel Romelu Lukaku
Numerous reports emerged on Tuesday claiming that the Belgium worldwide has turned down the offer of a £140,000-a-week contract at Goodison Park.
The news is a blow to Everton’s board who had been informed by Raiola in December the deal to extend Lukaku’s contract was “99.9 per cent” done.
Everton are apparently demanding that Lukaku’s new contract include a release clause of around £90 million, however Lukaku and his agent Mino Raiola are adamant that the release clause can be no more than £70 million.
Romelu Lukaku has told Everton that he will not sign their new contract offer.

The 23-year-old has scored 19 goals this season, and is now tied in the race for the Golden Boot with Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

The former Anderlecht graduate is a transfer target for ex-club Chelsea, who are prepared to offer him the chance to partner Diego Costa upfront in a potential 3-5-2 formation.
Chelsea were keen on re-signing Lukaku last summer and those at Stamford Bridge are sure to be alerted to the striker’s contract snub at Everton.
Although he goes from strength to strength at Goodison Park under Ronald Koeman, speculation hasn’t disappeared over a possible move elsewhere as The Telegraph claim that Chelsea and United are keeping a close eye on his situation.
Lukaku has netted 81 goals in 156 appearances for Everton, and is their eighth-top scorer of all time in the Premier League.
