Four-game losing streak has Rams in familiar spot

That makes four consecutive losses, a 4-7 record for the season, and the 9-2 Arizona Cardinals streaking into St. Louis this week.

The former Pro Bowler Foles has been a nightmare in nine starts for the Rams this season.

Cincinnati also activated their ground game, with running back Jeremy Hill rushing 16 times for 86 yards on the afternoon.

Jefferson went out of the game with a left calf strain with 5:09 remaining in the first quarter, and did not return.

Fisher will now have to depend on a quarterback that, just a week ago, was not good enough or composed enough to play for him. He has been called the best running back in the National Football League already by many respected media members, but it seems that Gurley is finally hitting his rookie wall.

Jay Cutler threw for 200 yards and a touchdown to help his team over the line.

Cincinnati’s offense had too much balance and too much firepower against a suddenly wilting Rams defense.

The Bengals pieced together another extensive scoring drive to begin the second quarter, increasing their lead to 10-0 after a 21-yard field goal by kicker Mike Nugent following a 14-play, 85-yard possession which spanned 6:49. Said head coach Jeff Fisher, “We’re just going to see how he is later in the week. (But) We need to continue to do the right things”.

Cincinnati came out running the ball on its opening possession of the second half but an underthrow by Dalton was intercepted by Rams cornerback Janoris Jenkins. No one touched him, never mind sacked him, in a game against the team leading the National Football League in generating the most negative plays.
