Four-Star ATH Jordan Fuller Commits To Ohio State Over Michigan, Notre Dame
Ohio State won a battle of Midwest powers Monday night when defensive back Jordan Fuller announced his commitment to the Buckeyes.
The Buckeyes have two incredible defensive ends, Nick Bosa (Joey’s brother) and Jonathan Cooper, highlighting what is now the No. 2 class in the nation.
Neither are guaranteed much playing time right off the bat, especially since Bosa is recovering from ACL surgery, but both are extremely versatile and could fit anywhere on the line. The only other wide receiver on the recruiting list is Binjimen Victor.
Ohio State fifth-year senior Corey Smith has been awarded one more year of eligibility from the NCAA via medical redshirt, according to Bill Rabinowitz of The Columbus Dispatch. This is a bit of a formality since Jonathan has been enrolled at Ohio State since January 11th.
Without five of their top six receivers returning to the team, Ohio State needed things to go their way on National Signing Day, but perhaps the Buckeyes’ best news of the day didn’t come from a high school recruit. The fluidity of their recruiting class makes things a little hard to predict (they could still see some decommits), but the Wolverines are still the odds on favorite to land the top ranked player in the country, Rashan Gary.
