Fox commentator trashes network’s debate as a ‘destroy Trump debate’

24 million Americans watched on television, making it the highest rated primary debate in history. The ten contenders, trump in the middle. Many more raised their hands in answer to the first question. Mostly because Donald Trump was involved.

Charles Krauthammer asked what happened to the “tough guy” who was going to confront China, Mexico, and Vladimir Putin, because he’s suddenly whining about “not nice” questions from Fox news anchors.

Numbers were also huge for the second-tier debate which took place earlier and featured the seven low-polling candidates who failed to make the cut for the prime-time event.

In the past, Trump has called O’Donnell a “loser” and “crude, rude, obnoxious and dumb”. “You’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals”.

“No it wasn’t”, Kelly replied, continuing, “For the record, it was well beyond Rosie O’Donnell.”

“I think the big problem this country has is being politically correct”, when asked about the time he told an Apprentice candidate she would look better “on her knees”. “I don’t recognize those words”, he said.

“Only Rosie O’Donnell”, remarked Trump, sending a shockwave of appall, laughter and applause throughout the arena. Others, however, were less than amused with Trump’s cheap shot. “I said, ‘Be at my wedding, ‘ and she came to my wedding”.

Right out the gate Megyn Kelly had it in for Trump.

To many viewers who expressed opinions on social media, it seemed as though Kelly wasn’t the only one of the three Fox News questioners to target the GOP front-runner.
