Fox Cuts ‘Minority Report’ Order to 10 Episodes
Despite being one of our fall TV hopefuls, Fox’s Minority Report has been cut back from a 13-episode to 10-episode order for the 2015-16 season. Dash, however, still feels committed to saving others with his gift and secretly partners with Detective Lara Vega (Meagan Good) to help avoid disaster.
Unless the show’s performance manages to dramatically improve over the course of its next seven episodes, the season finale could well be a series-ender.
Late Friday, it was announced that the series is now going to run for only ten episodes this season, down from the 13 that were originally planned for the show.
After under-performing for its first three episodes – most recently bringing in just over 2 million viewers – Fox reduced the original order, though sources say the network has not made a decision regarding cancellation. 7 live-plus-same day rating in the 18-49 demo for its most recent episode.
“Minority Report”, which stars Good, Stark Sands, Nick Zano, Daniel London and Wilmer Valderrama among others, is a remake of the 2002 hit sci-fi movie starring Tom Cruise, Samantha Morton and Colin Farrell. Over the past three weeks, the series has maintained a top spot with an average viewership of roughly 9.6 million each week.
The network’s Minority Report series premiered to less than stellar numbers and reviews.

Fox’s Minority Report has been less lucky, with the relevant axe-wielders deciding not to give it the same treatment as Blindspot.
