France’s Macron names half of parliamentary candidates from civil society

The secretary-general of Macron’s Republic on the Move, Richard Ferrand, told reporters Thursday that 95 percent of the candidates are not part of the outgoing National Assembly. “There is a big problem with the presentation of society and how they see the place of a woman”.
