Frank Ocean’s New Album Is An Apple Music Exclusive
On Thursday Ocean had released visual album Endless exclusively on Apple Music.
Friday to make his fans wait, the artist has posted Endless experimental video album of 45 minutes.
After months of suspense and weeks of cryptic online teasing ahead of the release of his long-awaited second album, hip-hop breakout star Frank Ocean has released “Blonde”. After four long years and many delays, the enigmatic singer has given the clamouring masses not one, but two new albums.
Fans in New York, Chicago, London and Los Angeles meanwhile, could pick up physical copies of the record at pop-up stores.
He also released new single “Nikes” from the album, over the weekend.
It seems the singer was giving out copies of Blonde buried inside his 360-page glossy magazine titled Boys Don’t Cry. The rollout was interesting, and possibly trend setting and clearly the result of a few years of work from Frank and his team and Saturday night he took to Tumblr to thank the entire world for the motivation.
“I had the best time of my life doing it all”.
Frank has kept the surprises coming for fans over the summer.
The cover of the album is “Blond” on iTunes, but the spelling adds an “e” to become “Blonde” in the iTunes listing and on the magazine and physical CD. Thank you all. Especially those of you who never let me forget I had to finish, which is basically every one of ya’ll.
As another added bonus under the “album contributors” section, Frank revealed the Blond credits, which includes an impressive list of heavy-hitting collaborators.
