Free Metal Gear Solid 5 for PC with select Nvidia cards
How to score a free copy of MGSV: The Phantom Pain alongside your GPU purchase.
For a limited time, you’ll get MGS 5 for free with purchases of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 960, 970, 980 and the latest 980 Ti-based graphics cards.
The highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is set to land on September 15th for PCs (it launches on September 2 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One).
Fortunately the owners of the gaming notebook versions of the said cards, the GTX970M and GTX 980M will also get redeem codes for Konami’s game.
With rumors circling that Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has been forced out of Konami and that his name’s been stripped off The Phantom Pain, it’s entirely possible Nvidia’s exchanged one controversial bundle for another here.
Of course, take all that with a Mt. Everest-sized grain of salt-lest we forget, The Phantom Pain is taking over for the previously-bundled game Batman: Arkham Knight which barely worked at all on the PC.
You can head on over to Amazon right now and take part in the promo; there you’ll find various offerings from EVGA, Gigabyte, Zotac, PNY, MSI, and ASUS.
