Freezing drizzle could mean a slick commute for KC on Wednesday morning
“At this time uncertainty exists with how heavy the snow will be so snowfall totals are unclear but it is possible to get 1-3”. Areas along and south of Cedar Rapids, temperatures are a couple of degrees warmer with a wintry mix. More wet weather is possible for the rest of the work week. It will be breezy, which could cause some patchy blowing snow. Look for a low impact to roads, but a few bridges and overpasses could be slick in northeast Oklahoma.
It snowed in Wichita overnight, but chances are you missed it. As the precipitation continues to move through, it is expected to fall in the form of rain.
Temperatures are hovering near 32° now and will continue through the night.
A slight chance of rain greets us on Saturday and potentially on Saturday evening. Pockets of freezing drizzle are possible.

The weather turns active starting late this afternoon through the weekend. Light snow is more likely by the afternoon commute, but don’t expect a lot of accumulation.
Tuesday will be partly sunny, with a high in the lower 20s.
Drizzle is likely Thursday morning, changing to light rain by the afternoon. Rain totals should generally be around a half inch to an inch. As temperatures drop Thursday night, expect light freezing rain and light snow. There could be a little bit of accumulation.
