Fresh Prince joining Affleck’s The Batman?
Warner Bros.is expanding their DC Extended Universe to try to catch up to what Marvel is doing. Suicide Squad is earmarked for an August 6, 2016 release and also boasts the acting talents of Margot Robbie, Viola Davis and Dexter from Camp Wilder.
When Will Smith signed on for Suicide Squad to play Deadshot, he was apparently pretty excited about DC’s plans for their cinematic universe.
Rumour has it that Will Smith’s Deadshot could be making his way to Gotham City in Ben Affleck‘s “Batman” movie. – file picLOS ANGELES, Dec 11 – There’s exciting talk that Will Smith’s Deadshot appear in Ben Affleck’s upcoming standalone “Batman” movie. If Deadshot joins the Batman movie, it would be for a “major role” in a scenario compared to The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Pairing Smith up with Affleck would give the film a pair of A-list actors for WB’s most profitable property. Batman and Deadshot might team up as they did in the comics, and I think fans would love to see a character that we’ve never seen in any Batman movie before.
This is all just speculation and rumors for now, but if it turns out to be true, then Ben Affleck’s solo Bat film could turn out to be another massive team-up event for Warner Bros., nearly like Batman V Superman. Be sure to check in with Design & Trend for more details.
