Friends cast to reunite for TV special
While the special won’t actually focused on Friends it will definitely be a highlight to see the entire cast back together. Aniston, Cox and Kudrow last appeared together in 2014 to spoof their “Friends” characters in a sketch on late-night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.
Greenblatt admitted that the details were still being ironed out for the cast reunion.
Robert Greenblatt, NBC chief, said: “I’m hoping that all six will be in the same room at the same time…”
Over the years, Burrows has directed episodes for hit shows including Cheers, Will & Grace, The Big Bang Theory, Taxi, 2 Broke Girls, Two and a Half Men, and many, many more. Instead, it’s for a special to honor prolific television director James Burrows, who helmed several Friends epsiodes.
“I’m hoping all six will be in same room at the same time”, he told reporters. “I don’t know if logistically we can pull that off”.
The exciting special is set to on February 21.
Media outlets everywhere are reporting about a enormous television moment- an impending reunion of the cast of Friends scheduled for later this month.
For the highly anticipated “Friends” gathering, it appears as if there will be one friend left out. TVLine.com reported that Burrows recently reached his 1,000-episode mark when he directed an episode of NBC’s midseason comedy “Crowded” in November.
Prayers of millions of fans of the cult sit-com Friends have been finally heard.
The programme ended in 2004, 10 series and a decade after it premiered on United States screens.
