From DONTNOD eleven Comes the 2D MP Shooter ‘Battlecrew Space Pirates’

Based in Paris, France, Dontnod Eleven is described as a “small team of talented and passionate developers” that will work with Dontnod’s larger studio “with the goal of sharing knowledge, expertise and resources in the years to come”.

It’s certainly a bit of a departure from Dontnod’s other games, but it’s also fascinating to see them tackle different genres and settings time and time again. Now the company has unveiled a new studio dubbed Dontnod Eleven that is working on a multiplayer platformer called Battlecrew Space Pirates.

DONTNOD ELEVEN® is pleased to unveil the first details about their upcoming title BATTLECREW™ Space Pirates , a competitive multiplayer shooter, with a high-paced gameplay, both accessible and deep.

“You play as the coolest and most charismatic pirates in the galaxy!” says the developer. DONTNOD Eleven will be implementing large community challenges that will reward the entire community with new characters, environments, and game modes on completion.

DONTNOD ELEVEN® is an independent video games studio. This new team seems to be designated with the task of driving revenue by pumping out smaller indie games that Dontnod can support.
