Fury: Klitschko’s camp filled with cheats
Labour shadow minister Chris Bryant said he would not be celebrating the new heavyweight boxing champion’s win, with Fury defeating Vladimir Klitschko at the weekend.
Newly crowned heavyweight world boxing champion Tyson Fury arrives for a media day in Bolton, England, Monday, Nov. 30, 2015.
Tyson Fury has revealed he waited until he got back to his hotel to drink water for fear of being drugged after the fight by “cheats” in Wladimir Klitschko’s camp.
Fury clinched a historic unanimous decision over the imperious Ukrainian and took the 39-year-old’s IBF, WBA and WBO titles off him.
Controversy engulfed Fury and Klitschko even before the final match- first, over a pair of gloves sent to Fury by Klitschko’s chosen manufacturer Paffen and second because the ring was considered too soft until a layer of foam was removed from the canvas. “If I could be half as good a champion as Wladimir Klitschko, I’d be very, very happy”. Hearn can certainly push for it though, but I don’t see Fury giving Joshua the opportunity. Britain’s tally of world champions in all weight divisions also rose to 11.
Tyson Fury insists there is no chance he will step into the ring with “pretender and fraud” David Haye, after the latter twice pulled out of fights in the past.
“I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in the power of Jesus I won this in Germany tonight”, said Fury.
“In the mighty name of Jesus, I thank you”, said the new heavyweight boxing champion of the world.
The 27-year-old is nothing if not unorthodox, as Klitschko discovered to his cost. I just don’t think he’s going to get the fight until he raises his profile on the world stage.
Fury’s uncle and trainer, Peter, told The Associated Press he believes a rematch will go ahead and said it could take place at Wembley Stadium – the home of English soccer – in May.
“I said, “Put some kisses on there, ‘ and he said, ‘I’ll do better than that” and he put two love hearts on the wraps”.
“Why do we need to mention Deontay Wilder?” he asked. However, Klitschko was boring as shit and I can not imagine an exciting or memorable Era of Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder or whoever else is a contender today.
“All that I know and that I can talk about is that I’m the number one heavyweight on the planet”.
