Gaga’s fighting words for Ronda Rousey

After the epic showdown between Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm in Melbourne, Australia on Saturday night, their respective net worth values have sparked public interest.

The knockout came in the second round on a kick from Holm with her left leg to Rousey’s head and the defeat was the first loss in UFC for Rousey.

The former champion had previously expressed her desire for time off due her commitments in her movie career, with hopes of returning to defend her belt at the landmark event of UFC 200 in July.

Rousey was in no mood to exchange pleasantries before the match, she came forward trying to close the distance, missed with a right hand.

It appeared Rousey was close to unconsciousness as she hit the deck.

She stung Rousey with a series of powerful jabs with Rousey’s bloody face showing the signs of battle, but more importantly kept Rousey at arm’s length where she was unable to use her judo skills in the first round.

“Obviously, she’s completely bummed out and depressed, but that’s it”, UFC president Dana White said of Rousey, who went to the hospital after the fight.

The fight started badly Rousey in the first round when Holm landed a lot of punches and things got worse in the second.

“There’s a lot of times in practice, there’s times before and after the fight, but when I get out there I just think, you know what?”

Holm’s excellent reflexes stood out in the second round and Rousey, trailing at this point tried to land a couple but fell on the floor attempting them. “Getting in here, I just felt so much support – I thought, ‘How can I not do this with all this support?’ I had the best coaching, from standup to grappling to wrestling”.

“She will be back, absolutely, she is an unbelievable athlete”, he said on Monday.

“She went out there with game plan A which has been extremely successful for her. She’s ran through everybody”.

Rousey left the stadium to receive treatment for concussion and facial cuts at a nearby hospital after the knock-out loss, and skipped the post-fight media conference. According to ABC News, White also stated fans might see a rematch between the two in the future. It’s one of those moments, these are the moments in fighting that make it so insane and so fun.
