Galaxy A9 receives Bluetooth certification, could launch soon

For the past few weeks, a barrage of rumours have started surfacing, suggesting that the South Korean tech giant is planning to launch the heavily anticipated Galaxy S7 ahead of schedule. Samsung is also tipped to introduce its own version of touch sensitive technology, ClearTouch, in collaboration with Synaptic. There isn’t any info about which features are going to be available on the new phone just yet, but there has been plenty of speculation.

Samsung has yet to formally discuss the now unconfirmed device. “Now for a limited time only, activate Samsung Pay on your Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+ or Note 5 with your Samsung account ID and register a qualifying card with Samsung Pay and receive a $50 rebate after filling out the online claim form”, the company says.

Available in two different options – the Gear S2 and the Gear S2 classic – the Gear S2 classic comes in a Black finish with a matching leather band while the Gear S2 boasts a more minimal and modern design. Flip phones are still quite popular in Asia, and a number of smartphone OEMs tend to release a couple of smart flip phones a year, including Samsung. The resolution of each Galaxy’s camera also generally gets better with each new model that rolls out. Google Now, as the name might hint, provides information on relevant facts such as traffic, weather, and upcoming events before you even ask it to. The new Dirty Unicorn firmware can now be used by anyone who has a Samsung Galaxy S3 device to update their smartphone to the latest Android Lollipop.

Then, of course, there’s Android Pay.

“According to the benchmark listing the device is expected to sport a 5.5” Full HD (1920x1080p) display along with the latest gen Qualcomm 620 SoC under the hood. A report in SamMobile reveals there are possibilities Samsung might unveil the Galaxy S7 at the Mobile World Congress 2016 that will take place from february 22 to february 25 in Barcelona.
