Galaxy Note 5 vs. Galaxy S6: 5 Things We Learned in June
Samsung is gearing up to launch a new ultra-slim smartphone, the Galaxy A8, in the very near future, and the company is finding it hard to contain leaks.
The video also seems to confirm the thickness of the phone, making it the thinnest phone created by Samsung. One of the primary ones has to be changing the rear camera sensor.
Still, assuming the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus comes to be, it would be the first time Samsung has released a mainstream flagship phablet: the Note series is generally accepted as appealing to a different audience, namely those consumers interested in productivity. However, smartphone camera enthusiasts should be vary that if they plan to save up to purchase this smartphone, then they will experience some level of image quality degradation compared to Galaxy S6, despite the fact that both sensors feature the same camera resolution.
Now jumping directly to the specification of the device, it is expected that it will boast a 5.4-inch or 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with two curved edges. The device will have 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB or internal storage, and will ship with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, with Samsung’s proprietary TouchWiz interface laid on top.
Reports also suggest that the new device to be rolled out might be named as Galaxy S6 Plus, which as of now has been given a code i.e. SM-G928.
