Galaxy S7 Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 chips compared
Samsung will likely unveil its next flagship Android smartphone, the Galaxy S7, at Mobile World Congress next month, but we may already know what it looks like.
According to the speculation, the Galaxy S7 will also come with a flat display, with another, larger, variant offering the curved screen as per previous year. It could stand out from competitors in the high-end market with twin rear-facing cameras, (15.9-megapixel and 8.3-megapixel), accompanying a front-facing 8-megapixel camera. Also, the new Galaxy S phones are expected to cram in bigger batteries over their predecessors. The release will be then followed by Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 presumably happening between February and March.
Samsung’s unpopular decision to get rid of the user-removable battery on the Samsung Galaxy S6 would have been fine if battery life on their phones truly lasted all day. And both companies may see something of an opportunity, considering that Apple has announced that iPhone sales will decline for the first time ever in 2016.
A new and possibly legitimate press leak of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 shows few surprises, as the device sports very minimal design changes.
It was reported yesterday that T-Mobile might soon be launching a new promotion that will appeal to customers who are looking to purchase two or more smartphones either for themselves or their family members. As such the Galaxy S7 is seen as a hugely significant launch for the company.
Some of them are a better RAM, which is nearly 4GB, more enhanced Touchwiz UI, Less power hungry AMOLED display, Better app power consumption management with Android Marshmallow 6.0 and last but not the least, Snapdragon 820 or Exynos processor, that would maximize performance and reduce battery consumption.
The S7 is all set to bring back another feature that was a part of the S5, but was absent from the S6 – expandable storage with the help of MicroSD card.
