Galaxy S8 rumoured to feature 6GB RAM and 256GB internal storage
To compensate for this huge failure, Samsung has been aggressively pushing Galaxy S7 sales. Now there are reports about a new C series device in the pipeline.
Samsung is all set to launch Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro company’s latest smartphone in China. If Samsung plans to up the level, this would bring the new Galaxy S8 at par with Apple products.
Reports have been suggesting that the tech giant will introduce a new strategy for the unit, which is quite different from the Galaxy S7’s 32- and 64-GB versions, which came with external memory storage that could hold up to 256 GB. The phone was first spotted on Indian import-export tracker website Zauba, and was then spotted on a Geekbench benchmark. The latest mid-range octa-core chip from Qualcomm comes with Quick Charge 3.0.
The company also noted that this chipset version was based on Samsung 10 nanometer processing.
It is not yet known when Samsung will present its new flagship smartphone.
If there are to be two variants, they could be what are being internally referred to at Samsung as the Dream and Dream 2, with the Dream apparently having VR connotations, seeing as Samsung’s recently announced VR Platform is called DayDream. The main difference, however, would lie in the externals.
Aside from this, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is tipped to sport a senstive display, an optical unique fingerprint sensor, enhanced camera, and come in two screen estimate variations – 5.7-inch and 6.2-inch. It goes without saying that they won’t share the same footprint however the external design of both the smartphone would be on the same line.
Meanwhile, aside from the reported similar features from its major rival phone, Samsung S8 has also its stand out specs to take pride.
Samsung will have surely been hoping that its mobile payment service would be available in time for the holidays when retail sales reach their peak. Speculators do not run from the opportunity of being the first to uncover new details about the newest Galaxy device, and each year we have insane stories reported from shady affiliations from the Asian market.
