Game Of Thrones Reportedly Casts Young Ned Stark For Season 6
New spoilers for “Game of Thrones” season six reveal that Max von Sydow will be playing the role of the Three-Eyed Raven while new set photos allegedly show Jon Snow’s funeral scene.
The sixth season of Game of Thrones is now in production, and the show will return to HBO in the spring. The initial casting description indicates that hell be practicing swordsmanship with an older boy during the scene. Instead, 13-year-old English actor Sebastian Croft will reportedly step in and play a young version of the character in a flashback. Sean Bean, however, won’t be.:’.
Actors Natalie Dormer, Sophie Turner, Hannah Murray, Carice van Houten, Liam Cunningham, Alfie Allen, and Gwendoline Christie pose onstage at the “Game of Thrones” panel during Comic-Con worldwide 2015 at the San Diego Convention Center on July 10, 2015 in San Diego, California.
Unfortunately for Sean Bean fans, Ned Stark won’t be resurrected through the work of Melisandre or anyone else for that matter. It’s possible that this flashback of a young Ned Stark could help propel Bran Stark’s story forward, but we don’t know for sure at this point. No, not Joffrey (Jack Gleeson).
Of course, everyone hates Walder Frey and wants to see House Stark get some sort of revenge. Lord Walder Frey (David Bradley), the man responsible for the other horrific Stark bloodshed, the red wedding, is slated to make an appearance.
HBO’s Game of Thrones will return in 2016.
Meanwhile, Ned Stark’s children are all still in peril.
Perhaps the White Walkers will try to attack the Wall itself and Jon Snow is revived just in time to lead the Night’s Watch to victory.
