Game of Thrones returns in April, teases Jon Snow return
Captioned “April”, the poster shows bloodied and beaten Jon Snow fuelling the debate over the fate of fallen Commander of the Night Watch. Now, fans aren’t sure what to think. Harington, whose longer “Jon Snow” hair was the object of much scrutiny during a Wimbledon appearance this summer, has been spotted in costume on the “Game of Thrones” set in Belfast.
Delaying the “GoT” premiere may also mean delaying the start of other returning hit shows “Silicon Valley” and “Veep”. Well, several huge billboards, popping up in NY and Los Angeles, might finally confirm the return of one of the show’s most beloved characters. “He’s dead, but he lives on”, Alfie Allen, who portrays Theon Greyjoy on GoT, teased.
In the closing moments of Game of Thrones Season 5, Jon Snow took a sword to the abdomen. Last year’s season finale averaged more than 8 million viewers (in real time), second only to AMC’s The Walking Dead.
Snow is back – dead or alive nobody knows yet – but he’s on the poster so it’s fair to assume that he’ll be popping up in season 6.
Perhaps the “Game of Thrones” season six finale will end with the White Walkers attacking Castle Black and the Wall breaking apart.
