Game of Thrones Season 6 Posters are Deadly

In new promotional posters released Wednesday, Jon Snow’s (Kit Harington) dead face makes an appearance – as do the bald, dead faces of several other Game of Thrones characters both living and dead. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. While the portraits will no doubt be scoured by fans looking for clues, they reveal next to nothing plot-wise, though they sure offer a glimpse of the new season’s spooky mood.

After the eerie Season 6 trailer for “Game of Thrones” dropped in early February, fans were left wondering what the packed Hall of Faces meant. For now, take a look at the latest Game of Thrones Season 6. Then we had the Season 6 poster from HBO, which was a closeup of Jon Snow. Will some of our favorite characters be joining those chilling ranks this season? Speculation about the fate of Jon Snow has been rampant throughout but some recent statements by fellow Game of Thrones actors seem to point to the resurrection theory. Though it’s expected that fallen characters like Ned Stark and Joffrey Baratheon would be found in the hall, what’s surprising is seeing the faces of Daenerys Targaryen, Cersei Lannister and Arya Stark’s in the mix.
