‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7: A Record Breaker
“We knew that Maisie was a big fan of Ed Sheeran and for years we’ve been trying to get him on the show so we can surprise Maisie”.
What I love most about Game of Thrones is that it doesn’t just teach great lessons but that it gives great examples of what can happen when these lessons are learned, or even worse ignored. We will witness Jon and Dany’s realization of their true relationship, and find out if Littlefinger has any meaningful leverage left now that Sansa has seen him for what he really is. Arya speaks mainly with the other soldiers, who say they are on their way to the Twins because of some ruckus with the Freys.
Trained poisoner and throat-slitter in chief Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) exploded out of the blocks in a shocking opening by taking vengeance on the killers of her family at the infamous Red Wedding. Asked how she copes filming gruesome scenes such as that one, Emilia said: “It was very helpful to be given something so truly disgusting to eat, so there wasn’t much acting required”.
“By the time the credits were rolling, I was thinking, is that it?”
He played the role of a Lannister soldier in last night’s premiere, singing a song that Arya Stark approves of. The first was with Meryn Trant, the knight who killed her sword instructor Syrio Forel. The second was with Walder Frey-she slit his throat in the Season 5 finale after disguising herself as one of his servants. She’s on her way to King’s Landing to murder the queen, as she tells Sheeran and his camping pals in the Riverlands.
“That’s a pretty song”, Arya said to Sheeran’s character, to which he responded, “It’s a new one”.
Those who had issues went to Twitter to post pictures of their television screens and complain about not getting to see the show. “I’ve always had that dream”.
Long story short: Don’t write this off *just* because it’s a celeb cameo. With the premiere episode now under our belt (read our full recap right here), the trailer for Season 7 Episode 2, “Stormborn”, has been released online.
