‘Game of Thrones’ season 7: release date and episode count announced

The cast and crew from Game of Thrones arrived at Comic-Con in San Diego on Friday to discuss the record-breaking season 6 and what’s ahead for season 7. Here’s some information about Santiponce, and what we think it might tell us about season seven.

Gold Derby did not forget to mention that Emmys has also recognized guest star Max von Sydow performance and nominated it for the “Game of Thrones” 2016 season six. It is noted that it has been a few years since the team filmed in Iceland, a location primarily used for filming scenes North of the Wall, back when Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and a group of Nights Watch members were hunting the Wildlings.

However, during an appearance in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Unfiltered podcast, Benioff and Weiss revealed that they had already planned big and major fight sequences as early as the first season of the show.

The Emmy favorite show previous seasons have 10 episodes but in the 7 season, the show will have only 7 episodes. This is because rules state that majority of a season’s episodes are required to have aired by May 31 to be considered.

“Winter is here, ‘ and that means that sunny weather doesn’t really serve our purposes anymore. So we kind of pushed everything down the line, so we could get some grim grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot”.

In GOT season 6, Bran who had a vision of past incidents, might be given important roles since he knows so much about the fate and Jon’s parentage.

Now that the premiere of season seven has been pushed back to summer 2017, the show is not expected to be eligible for next year’s Emmys, as it will have missed the deadline. In 2015, it won an award for the Best Drama category along with11 other awards, which set a new record for the show. Fans will be able to enjoy the next season in summer 2017.
