Game of Thrones set pic reveals major Season 6 spoiler
Kit Harington’s Jon Snow was seemingly killed in the season five finale, however the actor was recently spotted in Belfast filming for the next run of episodes for the HBO series. Who would have thought it? Fans suspicions that Jon Snow may still be alive has further been confirmed through the release of pictures of Harington on the set of Game of Thrones, according to Variety.
The recent big news is that “Game of Thrones” season 6 shooting photos had him wearing brown leather like Ned Stark in season 1. The interview needed to be translated into English, which was done by the Huffington Post to ensure its authenticity and accuracy.
Of course, these latest photos and tidbits have sparked the rumor mill yet again, and even the Daily Mail and Vanity Fair have come on board with their hypotheses for Jon Snow’s Game of Thrones fate.
A few fans believe that after Jon Snow is resurrected, he will take the Stark surname and fight Ramsey Bolton, writes Vanity Fair.
Meanwhile, HBO programming president Michael Lombardo previously announced at the Television Critics Association summer press tour that “Game of Thrones” showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss “are feeling there are two more years after season 6”. “Everything I’ve seen, heard and read, he is dead”. In the photo, a woman standing under an umbrella is also visible.
Which is all very well and good, but let’s be honest; Jon Snow might be a tough cookie, but he definitely did get stabbed multiple times at the end of Season 5. We’ll leave you to draw your own conclusions about this.
So if Melisandre – whom we already know has magical powers, and who has access to the same brand of magic that was used by red priest Thoros of Myr to bring Beric Dondarrion back from the dead – is right about all those details, what else could she be right about? And with Winter coming and all, we can’t but anxiously await for season six.
