‘Game of Thrones’ star Carice van Houten gives birth to son

Game of Thrones star Carice van Houten has given birth to her first child. The baby was born last week, though they’re keeping the exact birth date “L.A”.

And we’re sure Monte himself is super cute too, even though no photos have been posted just yet – after all, van Houten (who is about to turn 40) and Pearce, 48, are both pretty easy on the eyes.

She replied to Pearce’s tweets with a string of baby related emojis.

Sharing a snap of his father from the ’70s the actor, wrote: ‘Aug 6 1976 – Dad never made it home from that test flight. “It’s true. Let the shadow baby jokes begin”.

The Dutch actress has been keeping her followers up-to-date throughout her pregnancy.

Ok. I’m ready for your shadowbaby jokes.

Referencing one of the famous storylines from the show, she wrote, ‘Yes.

Carice van Houten and Guy Pearce have announced the birth of their first child.

In mid-July, Carice stood in front of a mirror and snapped a picture of her growing baby bump.

Guy, who is known for roles in films such as Iron Man 3 and The Kings Speech has also been keen to talk about awaiting his child on social media.
