‘Game of Thrones’ wins 8 Creative Arts Emmys; ‘Horror Story’ takes 5
The HBO drama took home eight Emmys on Saturday at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which celebrates the achievements made behind the TV cameras.
“The 67th Emmy Awards” are still six days away, but a large portion of the statuettes were already handed out on Saturday at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre.

Meanwhile, American Horror Story won for non-prosthetic makeup in a limited series, hair styling, costumes, “outstanding special visual effects in a supporting role”, and prosthetic makeup in a limited series. FX trailed closely behind in third place, taking home eight trophies – mostly thanks to the five “American Horror Story” collected throughout the night.
Cusack also became a first-time Emmy victor when she won for outstanding guest actress in a comedy series for her recurring role as agoraphobic germaphobe Sheila Jackson on Showtime’s “Shameless“.
The 2015 Creative Arts Emmys will air on September 19 on FXX. Freak Show was next in the list, which received 5 awards.
