The Florida defense is giving up 100 yards per game, which is ranked second in the SEC and 12th in the nation. Still, if the Bulldogs can get it turned around, I don’t think this SEC East race is over by a long shot. Kelvin Taylor also had a big game with 99 rushing yards and two TDs on 28 attempts.

Senior linebacker Deion Jones, who mostly played on special teams for the first three years of his LSU career, said the all of the special teamers are capable.

South Carolina stayed in range with two second-half scoring passes by quarterback Perry Orth – 36 yards to tight end Jerell Adams and 43 yards to wide receiver Pharoh Cooper – but couldn’t get closer than 14.

Chubb was a Heisman Trophy favorite before the season, but Fournette surged past him and all the other contenders with just a few performances.

Those numbers are eerily similar to those of Fournette at a similar production, against what we can argue as similar caliber of opponent through the season’s first six weeks.
