Gamescom 2015: Ori and the Blind Forest Expansion In Development
News on the expansion was announced during gamescom 2015 today by Moons Studios’ Thomas Mahler, according to Major Nelson.
The new edition aims to incorporate much of the fan feedback the studio has been listening to since the game launched earlier this year.
It will be part of the Ori and The Blind Forest Definitive Edition and available on both Xbox One and Windows 10 when it is released.
“We looked at all the YouTube videos that people made, and it was wonderful to see how people reacted to the story and characters we created, to see people cry playing the game, and so on”.
While details are scarce at the moment, the studio revealed on Xbox Daily: Live the Definitive Edition will be “the ultimate version of Ori”.
“You guys have been absolutely incredible”.
We can’t fault anything that adds more content to Ori and the Blind Forest, so we’re happy to report that an expansion pack for the game is now in development.
