Gareth Edwards Reveals Why Star Wars: Rogue One Entailed Reshoots
Asked by Andi Gutierrez about how Rogue One is different from past Star Wars films, Kennedy answered, “I think we’re taking a risk”.

Darth Vader isn’t the only Star Wars cameo that should get fans excited heading into the theater, though.
So it sounds like fans can rest easy that the first Star Wars spinoff/anthology film is a success. “Like darker than Empire Strikes Back dark”.
The fans have the right to be anxious, however, considering the loose timetable of the film production.
However, when Edwards was prompted about whether Leia will be in Rogue One, he suddenly hesitated and switched to a much more noncommittal – and much more enticing – answer: “I don’t want to ruin it for people”. Steven Weintraub, editor of Collider.com, applauded the film’s “incredible action” and script.
The diverse cast boasts British actress Felicity Jones, Mexican actor Diego Luna, British-Pakistani actor Riz Ahmed, Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen and Chinese actors Donnie Yen and Wen Jiang.
Jack Posobiec – a self-described Citizens for Trump advocate – took to Twitter on Thursday with the hashtag #DumpStarWars and claimed that the much discussed reshoots of Rogue One were done specifically to give the film an anti-Trump slant.
Be Civil – It’s OK to have a difference in opinion but there’s no need to be a jerk. I can say we haven’t focused on that as of yet.
