Garth Brooks Needs a Cell Phone Techie to Save His Next Album
All the new stuff which I’ve been working on for six months was on a phone that’s been fried, and I can’t get the phone to come back up… In addition to all the pictures of family and friends, the singer has been working on a new album and he has many compositions on the handheld device.
Garth Brooks put on six monster shows in Sacramento in March, and now the country superstar is returning to the Golden State for two shows in the Bay Area.
“I know I should have backed it up”, he admitted. He is supporting his ninth studio album, “Man Against Machine”, which is his first since 2001’s “Scarecrow”.
Brooks says, “It’s like losing your briefcase back in the 90s”.
The iconic entertainer has been working on songs for an album that he tentatively planned to release next year, but that recently took an unfortunate turn.
“When I think Nashville, and what I love about this place – it’s the home of the dreamers”, Brooks said at their induction ceremony.
The gigs, which are part of Brooks’ world tour with his wife, Trisha Yearwood, follow his four-night run in San Diego November 5-8. He ranks No. 2 on the overall list, with only the Beatles surpassing his numbers.
