Gears of War designer Cliff Bleszinski teases announcement for his next game
Project Bluestreak, Cliff Bleszinski’s long talked about FPS, will be properly revealed this Wednesday (or Thursday in Australia).
Boss Key was founded by former Epic Games‘ man and Gears Of War co-creator Cliff Bleszinski, who revealed in July 2014 that its first product would be a free-to-play sci-fi shooter for PC, which had been codenamed Blue Streak. It includes three slots for videos that are slated to be uploaded at noon Eastern over the next three days.
A new mini-website at Nexon.net, called The Shattering, offers a brief glimpse of a coastal city in ruins, the rubble still aflame, and a countdown clock set to finish sometime on Wednesday.
Prior to founding Boss Key Productions last year, Bleszinski spent 20 years working at Epic Games on titles like Jazz Jackrabbit, Unreal Tournament, and Gears of War.
The website’s main objective seems to be building up a community before the game is officially revealed, with registration for the site’s forums already up and running.
The first-person online shooter game has been known so far under the code name Project Bluestreak.
