Gears of War Ultimate Edition Will Unlock Whole Collection
At gamescom today, Microsoft announced that those who purchase Gears of War: Ultimate Edition digitally will receive all four Gears of War titles free of charge. By playing Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox Live from August 25 through December 31, 2015, you’ll get access to Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgment in Backward Compatibility when it launches this fall.

You can also play the Gears 4 beta after purchasing the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. So, if you already own the games, you can play them on Xbox One.
