Gen Raheel Sharif signs death warrants for four APS attack terrorists
General Raheel Sharif on Monday signed black warrants of four hardcore terrorists invol-ved in Army Public School (APS) Peshawar massacre.
According to media reports the terrorists to whom black warrants have been issued are Moulvi Abdul Salam, Hazrat Alim Mujib ur Rehman and Sabil alias Yahya.
The convicts were given a fair trial by following all the legal formalities and providing them legal aid and defense counsels, according to ISPR.
The militants were sentenced to death by military courts, which were established under a revised anti-terror policy following the Peshawar massacre.
The carnage forced the government to set up military courts, as part of the National Action Plan (NAP), for trying terrorists under amendments made to the constitution and the army act.
As a result an intensive operation was conducted by Pakistan army’s Special Services Group (SSG) to clear the school killing all seven attackers.
