General Zod’s ‘Batman V Superman’ Costume Will Leave You Scratching Your Head
Where the [frick] is he?’ and the whole crew was standing around.
Shannon was eventually able to escape the situation when a craft service person, who “was actually paying attention to what was going on”, opened the door for him. The trailer for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” reveals he may have Kryptonite, and according to a report from Heroic Hollywood, he’ll have another evil plan to bring the Man of Steel down.
The actor will only have a cameo in the film.
Fortunately for Shannon the craft service guy became his hero. Of course, these wax flippers could also be later swapped out digitally for something else, but it’s obviously that something will be happening with Zod’s hands.
Shannon was speaking with Vulture at a screening for 99 Homes when he elaborated on a behind-the-scenes mishap that inadvertently gave fans a taste of what is to come for General Zod in the highly anticipated film.
Shannon was kicking on the door with the flippers and shouting to be let out. Speculative fans hypothesize that in the new film, Lex Luther steals Zod’s corpse for experiments, activating a genome that transforms Zod into the monster Doomsday-the perfect villain to take down Superman.
“I was in my costume, and I couldn’t use my fingers because in the sequel I have flippers instead of hands”.
Didn’t he get his neck fatally twisted at the end of Man of Steel? If you’re familiar with the novels, then you will appreciate the various nods seen in the trailers and images released so far, including Batman’s costume and a single shot that pays homage to the cover of The Dark Knight Returns.
There was a time, not so long ago, when Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was due to hit theatres this summer.
