George and Amal Welcome an Adorable New Addition to the Family
But now, with George, 54, and Amal, 37, has her parents, she won’t want for anything ever again. Strangely, it doesn’t resemble either of them.
Ever since George Clooney and wife Amal swapped “I dos” back in 2014, there’s been speculation about when and if they’d start a family.
The new addition joins the pair’s other two rescue dogs: Louie and Einstein (an appropriate name for super-sharp Amal’s pet, right?). This time it was because they adopted an adorable dog from the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society. It said: “Millie was found without a home and hoping for food scraps outside of a local restaurant in San Gabriel earlier this month”.
According to the Daily Mail, George has a deep love for animals and is also the owner of a black Cocker Spaniel mix named Einstein. Apparently, the dogs hit it off and Millie became their new family member.
George and Amal celebrated their first anniversary on September 25, and to celebrate, ET compiled the couple’s cutest moments. The actor told Esquire magazine in 2011 he was so anxious for the dog to like him during the shelter home visit that he rubbed meat on himself. So I run into the kitchen, where I have these turkey meatballs, and I rub them all over my shoes.’ Aww!
George has also admitted he had a pet pig named Max who died at the age of 18 in 2006.
