George Lucas likes the new Star Wars movie
In the adorable 22-second video, the two snap their fingers as they take turns singing lines, and Isaac even reached out for his co-star’s hand at the end to match the lyrics.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” opens in cinemas in the United Kingdom on Thursday 17 December.
Sure, there are a lot of different ways to splice together a Star Wars poster, but minimizing the movie’s only black star seems an odd choice. Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk are producing with Tommy Harper and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers.
In his recent interviews, Lucas, 71, called his relationship to the franchise “a divorce” and said his involvement in the new film would “probably ruin a vision”.
There will be new experiences and new elements for fans of the movie, including the new “Star Wars Launch Bay”.
Set 30 years after “Return of the Jedi”, the new movie brings characters Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Han Solo (Harrison Ford) back to their galaxy far, far away. Perhaps he meant to write “Finn” (John Boyega) instead of “Rey”, as her ally has been seen using a lightsaber.
The Force is still with George Lucas – or at least he’s apparently on board with The Force Awakens.
Lucas now joins many other people that have seen the film including numerous cast and crew as well as Steven Spielberg. That said, he is expected to attend the film’s L.A. and London premieres, so we’ll soon get the verdict from the man himself once the red carpet press catches up with him. So I said, “OK, I will go my way, and I’ll let them go their way”‘. “I think he’s right”.
Leading up to the film’s December 18 release, the creator of this universe has appeared ambivalent about the whole thing. “Jurassic World” holds the record with US$208.8 million in June.
